LoTSA 2.0 is structured into two 6-month cycles:
\n\u2022 First Cycle:
\nSealed bids must be submitted on October 28, 2025, between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. (Panama time).
\nThis cycle will be effective from January 4, 2026, through July 4, 2026.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Second Cycle:
\nThe second cycle will be effective from July 5, 2026, through January 3, 2027.
\nThe sealed bid announcement will be made in a timely manner.<\/p>\n
Benefits:
\n\u2022 Advance Access: Reserve preferred transit dates and vessel names up to 15 days in advance.
\n\u2022 Flexible Changes: Modify booking dates up to two times (depending on the package) with five days\u2019 notice. Booking-related services included.
\n\u2022 Smart Cancellations: Cancel with 15+ days\u2019 notice and pay only 80% of the slot value.
\n\u2022 Dynamic packages: Ideal for fast-changing environments and real-time decision-making.
